Driving from Cagliari-Elmas Airport

For travellers arriving at Cagliari-Elmas Airport, a rental car or a pre-arranged transfer is often the easiest choice, especially with luggage or children. Follow the SS195 towards Pula and Santa Margherita di Pula, then the signs or navigation towards Pinus Village. Ask Casa Nola for arrival and parking information before setting off: a map may not show every detail of the internal access roads.

Train and regional bus connections

Regional trains connect Elmas Aeroporto station to central Cagliari in usually less than ten minutes. There is no train to Pinus Village. From Cagliari, check ARST regional bus services towards Pula and Santa Margherita di Pula, choose the stop that suits your destination and plan the final walk or transfer. Timetables and services can change by season and weekday; do not assume there is a direct bus from the airport or a stop outside the accommodation.

Getting around without a car

The beach at Pinus Village is within walking distance of Casa Nola, so you can enjoy a relaxed beach day without driving. To visit Chia, Su Giudeu, Cala Cipolla and Tuerredda, consider a car, pre-booked transport or public services confirmed for your dates. Always check the return journey, especially outside peak season and in the evening.

Beyond the beach: Pula and Nora

Pula town and the archaeological site of Nora make a rewarding change from the beach. A flexible itinerary might include a day close to Casa Nola, a day exploring Chia and a cultural outing to Pula or Nora. Our local guides help you choose according to your interests and the weather.

Check these details before travelling

Check train times with Trenitalia and regional bus schedules with ARST for your actual travel date. If you arrive late or need accessible transport, plan the last part of the journey ahead of time. Contact Casa Nola to confirm arrival directions and ask about your stay. We deliberately avoid fixed fares and service times because they can change.
